Paint colour for radiator covers – Traditional & Modern
Here at Radiator Cabinets UK, we use two industry-standard paint charts for paint colour for radiator covers. RAL, and NCS (Natural Colour System). We have thousands of colours to choose from. Which means we can easily match your Crown, Dulux, Farrow and Ball or Paint Library colour.
Use this online resource to find the best RAL or NCS match for your colour…’E-Paint Colour Alternatives.’ If you have a swatch or wallpaper sample you can post it to us and we will match it for you.
Whatever colour you choose the paint is the same. We use paint with a hardener built-in. This means the finish is incredibly robust and hard-wearing. The colour won’t fade and the white won’t yellow – we guarantee it!
We have found NCS to be the most comprehensive colour chart. There are almost no colours on the market which don’t have a very close NCS match.
The most important difference between NCS and most other colour systems resides in their starting points. The aim of NCS is to define colours from their visual appearance. The way they are experienced by human consciousness. We base other colour charts on an understanding of physical processes. How colours can be achieved or “made” in different media.
WE use RAL colours for information defining standard colours for varnish, powder coating and plastics. It is the most popular Central European colour standard today. The colours are bold, and because they are developed for commercial use, they may not be ideal for the home environment.
