Paint Colours for Traditional and Modern Painted Cabinets
Here at Radiator Cabinets UK, we use two industry-standard paint charts. RAL, and NCS (Natural Colour System) We have literally thousands of colours to choose from and can easily match your Crown, Dulux, Farrow and Ball or Paint Library colour.
Use this online resource to find the best RAL or NCS match for your colour…. ..’E-Paint Colour Alternatives.’ If you have a swatch or wallpaper sample you can post it to us and we will match it for you.
Whatever colour you choose the paint is the same, we use paint with a hardener built-in. This means the finish is incredibly robust and hard-wearing, the colour won’t fade and the white won’t yellow- we guarantee it!
We have found NCS to be the most comprehensive colour chart, there are almost no colours on the market which don’t have a very close NCS match.
The most important difference between NCS and most other colour systems resides in their starting points. The aim of NCS is to define colours from their visual appearance, as they are experienced by human consciousness. Other colour charts are based on an understanding of physical processes, how colours can be achieved or “made” in different media.
RAL colours are used for information defining standard colours for varnish, powder coating and plastics. It is the most popular Central European colour standard used today. The colours are bold, and because they are developed for commercial use, they may not be ideal for the home environment.
